Service Plans. We often hear from industry executives about their need for more support from equipment manufacturers because they struggle to recruit and retain the high skill sets needed to properly troubleshoot root causes, establish effective maintenance processes, and understand priorities.
Our own site visits confirm the need for better training of current personnel and new employees as they come on board. Planning and preparation for shutdowns is often not sufficient as evidenced by the last-minute requests we get amid those shutdowns. Our systems are sufficiently different from other conveyor systems that experience obtained by previous conveyor maintenance is not applicable, and in some cases even harmful. Proper preventive maintenance of our machinery is a must and is best established in partnership with our experienced team.

BRONZE UPTIME AGREEMENT
• 16 hours on site per year and 8 hours remote support and reporting. Travel time and charges not included.
This basic plan provides a guaranteed 16 hours on site per year, plus 8 hours in the office. The site time can be consecutive days or split into 2 visits. An example use of this time might include 1 day of inspections and discussions of best practices, followed by a second day of training, planning and preparation for maintenance or a shutdown. The office time is used to generate management reports, support documents, drawings, training documents, assistance with maintenance planning, CMMS assistance, etc. You also get a 10% discount on parts and priority scheduling.
• Full management report including:
- Status of current maintenance and operations practices, along with recommended improvements.
- Specific training documents to address deficiencies.
- Spares parts review, recommendations and quotes to replenish.
- Parts, upgrades and services recommendations.
• 10% discount on parts.
• Priority scheduling over non-contracted requests.

The office time is used to generate management reports, support documents, drawings, training documents, assistance with maintenance planning, CMMS assistance, etc. You also get a 10% discount on parts, 10% discount on extra hours and priority scheduling.

An example use of this time might include 1 day of inspections and discussions of best practices, followed by a second day of training, planning and preparation for maintenance or a shutdown. Maybe another day would be used for support during your shutdown. The office time is used to generate management reports, support documents, drawings, training documents, assistance with maintenance planning, CMMS assistance, etc. You also get a 10% discount on parts, 10% discount on extra hours, 10% discount on engineering services and highest priority scheduling.

Service Plans Notes
• Extra hours might be used to
- Train new personnel or refresh training
- Assist with CMMS setup or maintenance planning
- Assist with safety analysis
- Support maintenance during shutdowns
• The technician will be an experienced supervisor, fully trained on our systems and capable of teaching your people.
• The technician will act in a guidance and teaching role and not as a mechanic. He will not be with his own tools. All work will be performed by your people, so they learn from him.
• You will provide safe access, lift equipment, LOTO and sufficient manpower as determined by the technician. Generally, it is advised to have at least two of your people assisting the technician.
• Generally, up to 4-5 conveyors and 1000’ conveyors can be properly inspected in a day. This is highly dependent on access conditions, if you have VFD to allow the conveyors to be slowed down, etc.

Uptime Agreement Rates 2025
Technician:
- Shop time $98.00 / hour
- Field time $128.00 / hour
Supervisor, Engineer, Electrical / Controls / Automation:
- Shop time $185.00/ hour
- Field time $205.00 / hour
- Travel time is half rate.
Overtime is anything over 8 hrs a day and is charged time and a half. Weekends and holidays are double hourly rate.
- Service truck $1.50 per mile
- Welding machine with cables $125.00 / day
- Per diems for workers in field are $90.00 / day
- Travel costs such as airfares, car and machinery rentals, hotels at rate plus 15%.
- Equipment rentals are with full insurance plus 15%

All plans are structured to provide a pre-shutdown inspection and report which allows you to decide what work you would like to have performed at the shutdown. We then prepare the parts, drawings and education needed to make you most efficient during the shutdown. Planning IS everything.
