Position Responsibilities/Duties
  • Develop designs to customer specifications in compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes
  • Work with the production team during the manufacturing process
  • Build relationships with vendors and customers
  • Duties and assignments as assumed or directed by Director of Engineering: Designs, calculations, models, drawings, BOMs, data entry, operations and maintenance manuals, startup guides, troubleshooting guides, spare parts lists, etc.
  • Remain familiar with “Codes and Standards” and progressive industry designs
  • Continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills to enhance innovation and productivity
Comprehensive Knowledge Of
  • Mechanical design and manufacturing
  • Material properties of steel and aluminum for design selection
  • Engineering standard GD&T and BOM for part and assembly drawings
  • Welding methods and symbols
  • 3D CAD software experience (preferably Solidworks)
  • Technical writing and verbal skills
  • People skills: Vendors, customers, manufacturing team, other Engineers
  • Clear communication, verbal and written (English)
  • Troubleshooting problems with customer and manufacturing team to provide corrective actions

  • 3+ years of related design and manufacturing experience. Please describe in your cover letter. We are looking for people who are mechanically inclined. Include hobbies and personal projects if they apply.
  • Experience in risk evaluation techniques (DFMEA/PFMEA)
  • Proficient use of MS Office (Primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in fabrication and assembly
  • 3+ years’ in MIG, Stick, or TIG welding
  • CNC laser, plasma, torch, or waterjet table (Omax WJ equipment) operation; drag-and-drop nesting programs; or other similar experience
  • Industrial painting (auto body painting does not apply)
  • Familiarity with airless paint sprayers or other industrial coating methods
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints with weld symbols

Required Skills & Experience
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measurer and convert fractions to decimals from drawing requirements

Work schedule is first shift. Shifts run four, ten-hour days Monday through Thursday with OT on the fifth day or sixth day, if required.

Field Service Work Requirements

Candidates who wish to apply for field service work must also fulfill these additional requirements:

  • Strong stick welding skills in all positions, especially vertical
  • Millwright and rigging experience
  • Aerial Work Platform certifications (scissor and/or boom lifts)/other heavy equipment
  • Knowledge of and experience with Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO) procedures
  • Passport

Excellent attendance is a must for these positions.

Signing Bonus of $250 payable upon satisfactory completion of 90 days.

  • Evaluates manufacturing production and its processes through testing and research initiatives
  • Develops process techniques based on product and machine requirements
  • Organizes and manages workflows and resources
  • Documents and maintains procedures and tool drawings
  • Reviews performance of equipment and tools. Initiates corrective action for deficiencies.
  • Performs costs analysis on parts/processes
  • Establishes acceptance criteria for new tools, equipment, and processes
  • Serves as a technical resource to production management, engineering, and working crew for new and existing parts, products, and processes
  • Plans and implements the arrangement of equipment within plant facilities to ensure efficient production
  • Ensures manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations
  • Assists with training staff in new/existing processes
  • Works closely with mechanical engineering to establish proper detail prints required for manufacturing processes


  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing or process environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial engineering/technology from an accredited institution
  • Experience with both 2D and 3D CAD software. Solidworks & AutoCAD are preferred
  • Experience with CNC programming and nesting
  • Experience with robotic welder planning, operation, and maintenance
